Sainik School Coaching in Jaipur: The Pink City
December 4, 1971. Longewala. Rajasthan desert. Midnight.
Major Kuldip Singh Chandpuri had 120 soldiers. The Pakistani army had 2,000 soldiers and 45 tanks. They were coming straight for his post.

Sawai Jai Singh II. Born November 3, 1688.

The construction took four years. By 1731, the city was complete.

Jai Singh also built Jantar Mantar. Giant stone instruments to measure stars and planets. So accurate they can tell time to two-second precision. Without electricity. Without computers. Just geometry and masonry.
This was 1734. Europeans were still using crude telescopes.
