Sainik School, RMS & RIMC Coaching in Haryana
Here is something most people do not know about Haryana.
This state gives more soldiers to Indian Army than any other state. Per capita. Not total numbers. Per capita. Meaning for every lakh population, Haryana sends more boys to army than Punjab. Than Rajasthan. Than UP. Than anyone.
I did not believe it when someone first told me. Haryana? The state people know for khap panchayats and wrestling? Beating everyone in army recruitment?
Yes. Exposed this year when Agnipath protests happened. Haryana had most violent reactions. Because army is not just career here. It is identity. It is family tradition. It is what sons do.
Every village in Rohtak, Jhajjar, Bhiwani, Hisar, Sonipat has boys in uniform. Grandfathers served. Fathers served. Sons will serve. This is how it has been for hundred years.
A state that sends most soldiers. Why should it not also send most officers?
Everyone knows about 1857 revolt. But let me tell you the Haryana part because it matters.
Rao Tula Ram was from Rewari. Ahirwal region. When mutiny started in Meerut in May 1857, he did not wait for instructions. He raised his own army. Declared independence from British in Rewari. At age 32.
His forces fought British near Narnaul in November 1857. Fierce battle. He did not win that day but he did not surrender either. Escaped to hills. Kept fighting. Went to Afghanistan seeking help. Died in Kabul in 1863 still planning to return and fight.
The British were scared enough to demolish his fort in Rewari. Brick by brick. So no one could use it again.
Why does this matter for Sainik School coaching?
Because it shows what Haryana blood is capable of. Not following orders. Giving orders. Not serving under someone. Leading from front. Rao Tula Ram was not jawan. He was commander.
Sainik School Coaching in Haryana exists to create more commanders. More officers. Not just more jawans.
Let me tell you something that makes me emotional even now.
Captain Anuj Nayyar. From Hisar. 17 Jat Regiment. Kargil War 1999.
He was tasked to capture Point 4875. One of the most difficult peaks. Pakistani bunkers at top. Bullets raining down. His commanding officer was injured. Captain Nayyar took over.
He led from front. Literally front. First man climbing. Took out two enemy bunkers himself. Killed nine Pakistani soldiers in close combat. A bullet hit him. He kept going. Another bullet. Still going.
Finally a rocket propelled grenade hit him directly.
He was 26 years old. Maha Vir Chakra. Posthumous.
His father Brigadier S.N. Nayyar received the medal. A military father who lost his military son.
Point 4875 is now called Nayyar Post.
This is Haryana. This is what we are made of.
Military School Entrance Coaching in Haryana prepares children to follow this path. Maybe not to die for country. But to be willing to. That willingness is what makes an officer.
Haryana sits around Delhi. Wraps around the capital from three sides. This position matters.
The state is small. Just 22 districts. But army recruitment happens from almost all of them.
Rohtak, Jhajjar, Bhiwani, Hisar belt is called the sword arm of India by some. Maximum recruitment happens here.
Sonipat, Panipat, Karnal are closer to Delhi. More urban. But military tradition exists here too.
Gurgaon, Faridabad are practically Delhi now. Corporate jobs dominate. But even here, army families exist.
Rewari, Mahendragarh, Narnaul are Ahirwal region. Strong military culture here too.
This whole state breathes army. Cantonments at Ambala, Hisar, Bhiwani.
Best Sainik Coaching in Haryana has students from all these districts. The hunger is everywhere.
A man from Jhajjar called me. His son is in Class 4. Wants Sainik School admission β.
JCO means Junior Commissioned Officer. Subedar. Naib Subedar. Highest rank a jawan can reach without NDA.
CO means Commanding Officer. Colonel level. Only possible if you enter as officer.
This is the gap Haryana families understand now. Serving is good. Leading is better.
I asked why Sainik School specifically. Why not regular school and then CDS or AFCAT?
He said: "Sainik School mein mindset banta hai. NDA clear karna aasaan ho jata hai. Regular school ke bachche struggle karte hain."
He was right. Sainik School students have separate mental conditioning. Seven years of military environment cannot be replicated in six months of NDA coaching.
Sainik School Coaching in Haryana exists because families like his understand the difference.
Haryana has its own Sainik School. And another one very close.
Sainik School Kunjpura - In Karnal district. Established 1961. One of the original five Sainik Schools. Over 60 years of history. Produced countless officers. Campus on GT Road near Kunjpura village.
Sainik School Rewari - Newer one. Established 2021. In Ahirwal region. Closer option for southern Haryana students from Mahendragarh, Narnaul, Rewari.
RMS Dholpur - About 250 km from Rohtak. In Rajasthan. Option if state quota competition is too high.
RMS Chail - About 300 km. In Himachal Pradesh. Beautiful campus in hills.
RIMC Dehradun - About 250 km from Karnal. The ultimate goal. Toughest military school entrance in India.
The advantage for Haryana students? Sainik School Kunjpura is in your own state. 67% seats reserved for Haryana domicile. You compete mainly against other Haryana kids for majority seats.
AISSEE. All India Sainik Schools Entrance Examination. Conducted by NTA.
Class 6 pattern: 125 questions total Mathematics: 50 questions, 150 marks Intelligence: 25 questions, 75 marks Language: 25 questions, 75 marks GK: 25 questions, 75 marks Total: 300 marks Time: 150 minutes Negative marking: 0.25 per wrong answer
Class 9 pattern: 150 questions total Five subjects instead of four Total: 450 marks Time: 180 minutes
For RMS Coaching in Haryana, the pattern is different.
RMS CET Class 6: Intelligence, GK, Maths, English 200 marks total No interview
RMS CET Class 9: Two papers Paper 1: English + Hindi + Social Science Paper 2: Maths + Science Must pass both papers (50% each) Then interview
RIMC Entrance Exam Coaching in Haryana prepares for the toughest one.
RIMC: Written exam: 400 marks Subjects: English, Maths, GK, Intelligence Then personal interview Essay writing matters a lot Only 250 seats for entire India
This trips up many families. Read carefully.
Sainik School Class 6: Age between 10-12 years as on 31st March of admission year.
Sainik School Class 9: Age between 13-15 years as on 31st March.
RIMC Class 8: Age between 11.5 and 13 years.
No exceptions. No flexibility. Miss the window and wait for next level or give up entirely.
I have seen parents who started preparing too late. Child aged out before exam. Nothing can be done at that point.
Calculate backwards. Plan accordingly.
I have taught students from many places. Haryana students have certain characteristics.
Zero fear of physical training. These kids grow up wrestling. Running. Doing dand-baithak from childhood. Physical tests do not scare them.
Family support is automatic. No one in Haryana questions army as career choice. Parents push this dream actively.
Competition awareness exists. Every village has boys who cleared army recruitment. Students know selection is hard. They come prepared mentally.
English is weak point. Hindi medium background for most. English comprehension and grammar need serious work.
Overconfidence sometimes hurts. Because physical fitness is good, some students ignore academics. Bad mistake. Written exam comes before medical.
These are realities. Work with them.
Haryana has special bond with certain regiments.
Jat Regiment. Raised in 1795. One of oldest in Indian Army. Recruits heavily from Haryana, western UP, Rajasthan.
Battle honors fill pages. Somme. Gaza. Keren. Monte Cassino. Jammu and Kashmir. Punjab.
Most Victoria Crosses won by any Indian regiment during World War I. Six VCs. Think about that.
In 1971 war, 16 Jat captured Chakra in East Pakistan. Company commander Major Hoshiar Singh won Param Vir Chakra. The highest.
When your child prepares for RMS Class 6 and 9 Preparation in Haryana, they prepare to potentially lead soldiers from this regiment. Jat Regiment. Grenadiers. Rajputana Rifles. All have Haryana connections.
I will be direct.
Haryana has many coaching centers for army recruitment exams. NDA coaching. CDS coaching. AFCAT coaching. These exist in every district.
But Sainik School coaching? Specific preparation for Class 6 and Class 9 entrance? Not as common.
Most families either: Rely on general tuition teachers Send children to Delhi or Chandigarh Use online classes Attempt self-study with books
The problem is awareness. Many families in Haryana still think army means joining after Class 10 or Class 12 through recruitment rallies. The Sainik School pathway is not well known.
Once families understand that Sainik School leads to NDA leads to officer commission, demand increases immediately. The desire exists. Information is missing.
Online coaching is bridging this gap now. Students from Bhiwani, Hisar, Sirsa, Fatehabad can access quality preparation without relocating.
Daily schedule for serious candidate:
Morning (6-8 AM): Mathematics. This is when mind is fresh. Solve problems. Not just read theory.
School hours: Regular school. Cannot skip this.
Afternoon (4-6 PM): Intelligence and reasoning. Pattern practice. Series completion. Analogies.
Evening (7-8 PM): GK and current affairs. Read newspaper. Discuss with parents.
Night (8:30-9:30 PM): Language section. Grammar rules. Vocabulary. Comprehension practice.
Sunday: Full mock test. Proper timing. OMR sheet practice.
This happens 6 days a week. For 6-12 months before exam.
Haryana students must focus extra on English. This is where marks are lost. Math and reasoning they handle. Language section decides selection.
Private school education Class 6 to Class 12: Rs 5-8 lakh total in Haryana towns.
Engineering college: Rs 8-15 lakh for 4 years.
Medical college (private): Rs 50 lakh to 1 crore.
Now compare.
Sainik School Class 6 to Class 12: Fees are subsidized. SC/ST students pay very less. Defence personnel children get major concessions. Even general category pays fraction of private schools.
After Sainik School, if child clears NDA: Free education at National Defence Academy β. Stipend paid to cadets. Commission as officer. Lifetime career with pension.
Haryana families already send sons to army. The cost benefit of officer entry versus jawan entry is massive. Same risk. Much higher reward.
Clear written exam and you still face medical test.
Height requirements exist. Different for different age groups. Check current standards.
Weight must be proportionate.
Vision checked. Some vision problems disqualify.
Hearing tested.
General fitness assessed.
Haryana students usually clear medical easily. Physical culture is strong here. Obesity is rare in village kids. Outdoor lifestyle keeps them fit.
But urban students from Gurgaon and Faridabad? Different story. Too much sitting. Processed food. Screen addiction. They need to work on fitness separately.
Do not assume fitness. Verify it.
Let me give you numbers that matter.
Sainik School Kunjpura might have 100 seats for Class 6. Applications come from across Haryana and other states. Maybe 5,000-8,000 applications. Acceptance rate: 1-2%.
Sainik School Rewari is newer. Competition may be slightly less. But growing every year.
RIMC Dehradun has 250 seats for entire India. Applications: Lakhs. Acceptance rate: Less than 0.5%.
These are not easy exams. I will not pretend otherwise.
But someone clears them. Some child from Haryana gets admission every year. Many actually. Why not yours?
The children who succeed are not geniuses. They are prepared. They have practiced. They have consistency.
Sainik School Coaching in Haryana provides that preparation.
This is what we are really talking about.
Haryana has given jawans to India for generations. Brave soldiers. Loyal soldiers. Soldiers who won medals and gave lives.
But the officer corps? Historically dominated by certain regions. Certain schools. Certain backgrounds.
Sainik School changes this. A farmer's son from Jhajjar can become Colonel. A village kid from Bhiwani can command battalion. The path exists now.
The journey: Class 6 or 9: Clear Sainik School entrance. Class 10: Board exams in Sainik School. Class 12: Board exams plus NDA written exam. After Class 12: NDA training. Three years. Graduation: Commission as Lieutenant.
Twenty years from now, units of Jat Regiment could be commanded by officers who grew up in Jat heartland. Not outsiders. Their own. Sons of soil leading sons of soil.
Haryana does not need motivation for army. That exists in DNA.
What Haryana needs is direction toward officer entry. The jawan path is known. Every village has examples. The officer path is less visible.
Your child can be that example. First officer from your village. First Colonel from your khandan.
The entrance exams do not ask about your caste. Or your land. Or your khap. They ask mathematical questions. Reasoning puzzles. General knowledge. Language skills.
Can your child answer correctly? That is the only question that matters.
Sainik School Coaching in Haryana exists because the answer can be yes. With preparation. With consistency. With the same determination that made Rao Tula Ram fight British. That made Captain Nayyar climb Point 4875.
Haryana has given blood for India. Time to give leadership too.
Three generations of jawans is honor. First generation of officers is legacy.
Build that legacy. Start now.
